Now you know about the features, pros, and cons as well as about the interface. Now it’s time to introduce you to all the 5 effects one by one.
Soundspot Nebula Delay
First of all, let me explain the Nebula Delay effect. The Delay module has a number of features that help you in creating depth and space for your sounds.
You get a dedicated filter button that helps you to remove any unwanted frequencies in the sound. There are two modes – stereo and mono which can be changed by linking the left and right channels.
You can add triplet and dotted variations to the left or right signal and easily control the feedback and mix of the effect. The real-time feedback display provides users with the facility to make accurate decisions in designing the delay signals.
Overall, this delay effect is a fully-featured delay that can be used in any application, whether it’s a vocal, synth, or guitar delay.
Soundspot Nebula Chorus
Nebula chorus can be used in several different applications including synth and guitar chorus effects. The chorus module is used to add additional width to your sound by creating a detune effect along with the original sound.
It has four parameters – Rate, Depth, Feedback, and Mix parameters. The rate parameter is used in controlling the speed of the effect while the Depth parameter controls the pitch variation amount.
The feedback parameter controls the amount of modulated signal feeding back to itself. The last Mix parameter allows you to control the mixture of the wet signal with the original signal. You can also flip between stereo and mono mode.
Nebula LFO
The LFO effect module does the magic and makes your music breathe by designing the sound. The left side of the module features target selectors which allows you to control various parameters inside the other effect modules.
The LFO module itself has four different waveforms including triangle and square, sawtooth, and sine.
You can flip each waveform independently to create an opposite polar effect.
LFO module allows you to set the time from 1/32 to 32 bars which can be used to create the between percussive grooves and longtime modulation. The range parameter is used to control the amount of LFO applied to the original signal.
Soundspot Flanger
The Flanger module allows you to add some additional movement to your sound.
Just like the chorus module, it has four parameters – Rate, Depth, Feedback, and Mix. When you set a slow rate, it will create subtle movement while the fast rate creates a dramatic effect.
The depth parameter controls the detuning amount of the signal and the feedback parameter controls the amount of modulated signal fed back to itself.
The Mix parameter is used to blend the wet signal with the original signal so you can use it to control the amount of the effect. Just as the chorus effect, it has also the same mono stereo controls to create a full stereo image to your sound.
Filter Cut Module
The last one is the Filter cut module. It works on the entire output signal which can be manipulated to create great effects through the LFO.
It has mid, side, and stereo modes which give you great flexibility to manipulate the end of the signal path. Filter cut module has a dedicated low cut and high cut range from 20Hz to 20KHz to cut off the unwanted frequencies.
The slope allows you to control the frequencies as low as 12dB per octave through to 48dB.
